All electrical systems deteriorate with age and continued use. It is recommended that existing installations should be tested at least every 10 years, to ensure compliance with BS 7671.

An Electrical Installation Condition Report, formerly known as a Periodic Inspection Report is an in-depth assessment of the condition of your electrical installation, highlighting any areas that may affect electrical safety. Any defects observed will be notified within the report and an estimate for remedial actions can be supplied. It is also recommended that these reports are obtained as part of the house buying process.

Electrical Condition Reports can also be supplied to private landlords for their rental properties. With regulations & recommendations regarding electrical safety within rented housing currently being highlighted, it has never been more important to ensure the ongoing safety of tenants.
