Swift Electrical is a family run business and has been trading in the Northamptonshire area since 2006.

We are a registered member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC).

This entails frequent audits of our work by NICEIC engineers and provides our clients with the assurance that our work is always carried out to the highest standards. All work is carried out by fully qualified, and insured electricians.

Part P of the Building Regulations for England and Wales was introduced by the Government in January 2005, with the aim of reducing the number of accidents in the home related to faulty electrical installations.

It is now a legal requirement for electricians or individuals involved in carrying out domestic electrical work to comply with these Building Regulations.

Failure to comply with Building Regulations is a criminal offence and you can be fined up to £5000.

Most major domestic electrical work carried out requires notification to the local authority building control department.

If this is not carried out, you may encounter a problem when you come to sell your house.

Home insurance may also be invalidated.

As an NICEIC registered Domestic Installer, Swift Electrical supplies all relevant certification that may be required by the homeowner. Where appropriate, we will also notify your local authority building control department after the work has been completed and arrange for a completion certificate to be issued.
All installation work is covered by a 12 month warranty. In addition, we can also offer an additional 5 years warranty, through the NICEIC Insurance Services.
